The NZ polling looks like after 2 terms Labor will be in the wilderness for another term. Thats a very long time to be out of power.

NATIONAL: John Phillip Key is the 38th Prime Minister of New Zealand, in office since 2008. He has led the New Zealand National Party since 2006.
LABOUR - Helen Elizabeth Clark, ONZ SSI was the 37th Prime Minister of New Zealand, serving three consecutive terms from 1999 to 2008.
1999 to 2008 - That was a LONG time for the National Party to be out of power.
Helen Clark - ex Labour PM of NZ - Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the third-highest UN position, since 2009.
Very clever, intelligent woman.
John Key is a good PM also. Brought up by his hard working single mother ( his Dad an alcoholic, died when he was 7).

And I'm sure all the New Zealanders are appropriately sad or happy depending on the colour of their politics. For most of the rest of us I suspect it's rather a case of DILIGAFF (flying fox)

Yep Labor still in Opposition. That's a big blow for them and a very long long time to be repudiated by the majority of the people.
