Proud mum

Tomorrow our youngest daughter will complete her nursing degree.
Our eldest finished hers a few years ago.
Our middle daughter works as a disability support person and is finishing her first year of her nursing degree.

So hopefully we will be prepared for nursing in our old age. Lol

Re: Proud mum

I started a nursing degree when I first left highschool.  As a child when people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I always answered "imma be a nurse"

I got 6 months into the course and realized, I am not a nurse. I could never be a nurse.  It takes a VERY special person to be able to be a nurse.

You must have a very special family purplecarrot-top.  Welldone to them.  And congratulations to you for making such special people

Re: Proud mum

Thank you.

They were late starters. The eldest had five children and was a single mum when she started. The youngest in her mid twenties. Took her an extra year because she had a baby last year. And the Middle one has teenagers.

Yes I think they are very special people.
