Tomorrow our youngest daughter will complete her nursing degree.
Our eldest finished hers a few years ago.
Our middle daughter works as a disability support person and is finishing her first year of her nursing degree.

So hopefully we will be prepared for nursing in our old age. Lol

Try seeing how long a nurse remained employed if she didn't partake in the above activity many times a day. ๐Ÿ™‚

If you are looking for a squabble it seems that Purple has already had enough nasty posts from this place.  Don't let it get to you Purplecarrot-top.

By the way.  I didn't add my congratulations.  Outstanding and well done.

You're obviously not a nurse if you think wiping bottoms is not the number one ongoing daily task a nurse undertakes. ๐Ÿ˜‰

What a load of crock that comment is.

Whilst I am not a nurse I have friends who are, 2 of them working in the operating theatre as scrub nurses, definitely not bottom wiping there.

One works in Accident and Emergency at a large hospital in Sydney helping to save lives. Only a small part of her job would involve 'wiping bottoms'.

Another is a nurse practioner in the outback, doing things like sutures, xrays, applying plaster of paris casts, and doing work a lot more involved than 'wiping bottoms'.

Obviously you have much to learn about the nursing profession. A lot of the basic nursing care is now done by EN's or Assistants in Nursing, depending on the hospital.
