R.I.P Charmian Carr ~ Liesl Von Trapp 27/12/42 - 17/9/16

Yet another celebrity death. Seems to have been a bad year for it. Hard to believe she was 73 when you see her still looking so young and beautiful in reruns of the Sound of Music.

I liked the character of Liesl.....such a sad end for a lovely lady.

Ummmmm....it's probably because I didn't care to see it

I remember a joke at the time - because the movie is almost 3 hours long.

A man comes out of the theatre showing Sound of Music.

A passer-by says to him "The hills are alive with the sound of music"

He replies "I wouldn't know mate.......I've been in there all day"

It comes on TV regularly.....try it next time.  It really does not seem long because it is never boring and the scenery is spectacular.

There is always the Off button if you don't enjoy it.
