Yep, misleading banner headline. Don't know anything about the golfer, but always sad to hear of anyone's passing, whether in the public eye or not.
RIP, sir.
Misleading?
Arnold Palmer was one of the most beloved golfers in history. He was affectionately know as Arnie and his tens of thousands of followers were known as Arnie's Army. He had a humility and goodness that extended way beyond golf. To me his death is very sad because the world is now without another truly wonderful person.
I do apologise to those of you who thought it was Mr. Schwarzenegger - I had no idea he is so popular on CS. My mistake.

It's the usual practice to put the full name in the thread title and then
a link in the post, so everyone knows exactly who it was.
I gotta say, I was in shock there for a minute.
Not because I like Arnold Schwarzenegger, but he's more well known
than Arnold Palmer in this day and age IMO

In a nutshell Stawks, in a nutshell. I don't like golf, but in the back of my mind I knew who Arnold Palmer was. However, saying that, I associated the nom-de-plume 'Arnie' with Schwarzenegger, as I'm sure most people did. But there you go, rectified I hope.

I immediately thought of Arnie S too Stawks.
Had to go to Google to see what had happened (before you posted the link) and discovered it was Arnie P.
While it is sad, he was not as well known in the wider community as Arnie S.
