I think she was more aggressive than the cop, TBH

If she'd just laughed it off and showed him her id, there wouldn't have been

a problem.   But Americans seems to think their civil rights trump everything - even common sense.

One time a window was stuck, and I smashed it accidently opening it.

Neighbours called the cops and two turned up with guns drawn.

I showed them id and we all had a chuckle.

I thanked them for being so quick to respond

The police seem to be damned if they don't and damned if they do.

I think this officer saw someone putting things into a car and wanted to make sure it was the home owner.

But in America from what I have seen in recent years, the police seem to have become over the top.

Policing now needs far more complex training then ever to protect and at the same time go unnoticed.

I love the local police here in Papamoa, you only have to stop and lift the bonnet of your car and they stop to see if you are OK and need any help.

Re: Warning (video not in Australia) you been warned

From what I have seen and heard from family in the US, most people react very agressively towards Police in America, therefore Police has to use force to protect themselves. How many Police men and women have been killed over the years by idiots looking for revenge?

If Police tells one to stop, put your hands behind your back, guilty or innocent, one has to obide and not try to fight the Police, throw insults at them and even threaten them.

You hardly ever see a Police officer wrestle a person to the ground in Australia. Why? Because even drunks and junkies have more respect for the Law.

So, don't try to turn us all against American Police. The people being arested or questioned are just as bad or worse.

Unfortuntely, when you get cops shooting unarmed people, some lying on the ground and restrained I think you have a problem.
