What is "OMIGA plus"?

OK, I got a new new computer; instead of the new faulty one that I bought last week.  When I got it home I downloaded FIREFOX, got the firefox icon on my task bar, but when I clicked on it something called OMEGA+ pops up.  It took me few tries to uninstalled; at least I hope it uninstalled, and I downloaded FIREFOX again, and that is what I hve now, and I am running my antivirus.

But where on earth did this thing come from and what is it?

Appears to be a browser hijacker

Thanks, i thing it is gone.  I did try to google the info, but naturally hijacked browser was not going to show me solution 🙂
