EBay Delivery Services in transit delays in same city last mile delivery why?

Items seems to travel a day at a time then sits for a day or two @ depo's for what seems should be a straight line or stop over nite on the way to delivery? Paid $20 for delivery but have had Items arrive from China faster for a few bucks!

Delivery is by "EBay Delivery Services" not Austpost, tracking number is ebay only no data on who they might be using as I expect it's like amazon as in their own courier and it seems to be in brisbane moving bit by bit from customs near CBD to Redcliffe and moving a suburb at a time? I'm 20km from the CBD...

I have experienced horrible delays with AusPost too lately, and I am trying to avoid Aramex altogether, but it is not eBay's or Etsy's fault - or any other company's fault. AusPost had so improved (until February I even received most items before the estimated delivery), then all of a sudden the delays are worse than ever (if the items arrive at all), but I assume it is not the same everywhere, as it depends on sorting centres, staff etc.

As for items from China, ironically the ONLY item that arrived on time since February was a small parcel from China - economy from China that took less than regular parcels NSW from NSW (twice).

eBay here do not deliver anything and do not have their own 'delivery service'

More likely the seller(s) are using Sendle, a courier broker who use the cheapest at the time 

You can read any number of the hundreds of threads on here about Sendle and their 'service'

Ebay international delivery service is similar to Pitney Bowes, but cheaper. Where I live the final courier is Aramex, not AusPost, but it depends on where you live. I think (from the USA) they first use USPS, then DHL, and then whatever courier they use as the final courier.

Tracking link comes up as "eBay Delivery Services: ESUS139063###" so I don't know who they use last mile as they don't give third party details and usa seller used their delivery service.

what tracking site are you using, or are you just receiving updates via ebay

Yes update's are via tracking by ebay... tried a few site via google but no luck I mean ebay's info is very detailed in terms of logging every stop, just it's strange in that it's moving a day or so and stopping a day or so but is in brisbane now for a two days or so and only has to travel 20 odd KM's?..

"Next delivery cycle" sounds like Aramex. I had that for over a week, so it does not really mean what it says, but you will get it, eventually. It sounds like it is already at their local depot at least.
