Why was I charged for an item that I withdrew from sale, after I made a refund?

I just received an invoice for March sales. I had an item for sale that was withdrawn minutes after I refunded the buyer his money.

How does ebay know the sale was not completed?

Did you cancel the transaction officially?

To get your fees back you need to cancel the transaction....send a cancellation request to the buyer.  If he does not answer or refuses the request you will just have to wait for the cancellation to time out.
