The delivery is - post by 29th May.
Shown to the buyer - estimated delivery - 25 - 30th May.
This could pose a few problems.

Seems there is a glitch with the handling times.
Because I use ' Standard Postage ' - it is showing up as the time this should take - rather than this and the adding of the handling time.
' But don't worry - it won't affect your account ' . lol

It will pose enormous problems, because buyers buy with an understanding that the delivery date range is meaningful and sometimes they are relying on things to arrive roughly on time.
Basically, if you're a seller and you see a message like this, it doesn't matter what your handling time is, you better get that item into the post by 22/23rd May.
Yes, ebay has a lot to answer for, I would have expected better, even if it is an automated system that calculates the dates. It shouldn't be that hard for them to formulate a program that won't estimate a delivery that is before the 'send by' date.
PS I wouldn't take their word for it that it won't affect your account if things are 'late'.

I can only look at a past order of mine, but the estimated delivery times are nothing like that. They show a reasonable 9 days. I have a handling time of 4 days, I don't know if that's relevant

My handling is 5 days.
Posted this morning - I'll go back and check estimated delivery.
