Just sold my first free listing for this promo. They bought 2 items , but only 1 out of them was free fvfs.
Looked at my account, it does not appear, and would you believe they didn't take FVFs off the postage. Just half for the other item. Now to sell the other 9.

Invitation only, just every single other one. Better luck winning free listings in Crown Casino than getting eBay to do anything besides 40 per month.

Yeah, I can confirm no eBay FVFs are taken from the item price or the postage. 🙂

This promotion is on Final Value Fees only........but do not be misled.  I used all mine up just about with listings that did not sell before I put on the selling items. 

It is on the first 10 you list whether they sell or not.  Does not interfere with you 40 free listing fees per month.

I was told to read T & C but they do not tell you.

Yeah it's not the first 10 you sell during the promo but only refers to the special 10 that you chose to list for that promo.

If only 1 out of 10 sells you get the FVF off just that item.

For anyone still yet to use the promo, to clarify:

Any GTC listings that automatically re-list during the promotion period are not eligible for the promo.

It only applies to listings that are created using the listing form (excluding multiple-quantity listings, e.g. "5 of 5" available).

It runs until Feb. 16, so there's plenty of time to get your auctions or BIN listings going.

Although the promo ended a couple of days ago it keeps on giving.

I had listed 10 BUY IT NOW items. The catch was of course that you could only list quantity "1". I tried to alter the quantities at one stage but I incurred the $1.50 so I just left them at quantity "1".

Now that the promo is officially over (if you still have any of those 10 items left  - which I do) you can now change the quantity to "2" or more items without incurring any additional charges.

They still come off your free listings and count towards any listing restrictions however, so all that has happened is the situation has reverted to normal.

So what is it giving?

They don't come off your free listings as they were originally listed for FREE and have since automatically relisted for FREE.

During the promotion however if you tried to increase the quantity you would incur a $1.50 listing fee but now that the promo is over you can alter the quantity from 1 to say 6 without being charged the fee. 🙂 

I listed them for 30 days with the 3 free auto-relists.

So to better answer your question......

What is it giving?

I was only able to list 10 items Quantity 1. Now I can change all those originall 10 listings (as they are still active) to Quantity: 10 without any additional fees. So instead of having 10 items listed I now have 100.
