I have sold an item to a buyer who has not picked up the item as condition of sale. We have been holding the itenm since May.
We have the buyers ID but cannot use it to contact them because the actual sales is no longer on our records.

Just refund them and relist it.
For whatever reason, they don't want it, so don't involve them any further.
When refunding, make sure to use "problem with buyer address", so you don't get a defect.

You can still send them a message - just go directly to their profile, and click "send message" and then select "this is not about an item" or whatever it says. You'll need to enter a captcha but can otherwise send any member a message this way.
