Postal carrier using ebay generated buyer email address for promotion(?)

This is a new one for me. Chronopost, an arm of the French La Poste sent a lengthy email seeking feedback for their service to a customer of mine. The customer responded positively but I received the email, not Chronopost.

My guess is that Chronopost has used the ebay  generated email address to reach customers. Rather than following the link, the customer replied to the ebay message.

I am now wondering whether this is OK or should I be concerned or even outraged (not really).

Oooops. For those that do not post internationally, this email address is placed on the customs/ mail label.
