Ebay can only send the phone number to the seller if the buyer has it entered in their details.
My phone number is and always has been sent to the seller as soon as I pay.

Well, I enter my mobile number in the details, but it does not appear in my address label

That means it has been deleted by the seller when they print the labels.....not ebays fault.

When deleted, maybe the consequesnces are not clear to the seller.
I am not looking to blame anyone, only to make sure sellers are aware of that.

I for one, only delete the phone numbers if it creates an error and states it contains incorrect number of digits. I dont see how getting an sms to advise item has been delivered, makes it arrive any quicker, as the sms does not speed up the delivery process. Plus you only get an sms on some services unless it is a paid extra.

Maybe they do things differently in Israel
These are the Australian boards.

SMS is making delivery at least one business day shorter.
When there is no mobile number, the post office prints a notification, which is delivered next time the postman arrives my home, and only when i see the paper at home, I collect it from a place which is open 24x7.

Hmmm. I hope Efrat doesn't think he's communicating with ebay here.
