how much would you pay online for a normal $100 note

in the sun on page 3 today , they were talking about unwanted gifts as many put the gifts on ebay and co on boxing day, but this bloke in nz  did not want his gift of a $100 note so put it up online as of yesterday it is already $105.55   mmmm

Don't know about $100 notes, but you might be able to make a few quid with the early off-colour 1992 $5 notes, or the 2001 Centenary of Federation note. That said, finding any of those in your change would be pretty rare these days. I won't count the first plastic $10 note as I think they were all withdrawn when the current design came out (1993).

As for coins, hold onto every 2011 10c piece you can find, it's even more rare than the 1972 5c - I've only ever come across one of them and that was *in* 2011.

The 2014 $1 (standard kangaroo design) isn't too common either, with most of them being the ANZAC design instead.
