Join the Friends of Nunawading Libraries (FONL) at their bi-annual book sale.
Date: Saturday 11 October Time: 10.00am - 1.00pm
Venue: The Council Chamber, Nunawading Civic Centre (next to the Nunawading Library) 379 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading.
There is a wide selection of books for sale including ex-library stock and donations from the public.
All proceeds from the sale go back into Whitehorse Manningham Regional Libraries.

18th October National Garage Sale Trail Day
There's a website with all the Garage sales mapped out that you can track on an iphone so you don't have to jot them down and look up your street directory.
We've got 40 Garage Sales in Poowong and 50 in Warneet on the day so might not make it up to the ones in Melb.
Wish they would put out an app like this website so as not to have to use a Melway and waste half a Friday night going through Gum plants and face people plus local classifieds and other publications, phew....

Approx 80,000 books. One hall is for General Fiction,Fantasy, Crime, Sci-Fi , Children ect, the other hall is strictly for non-fiction, categorised according to genre for example Military/War, Australian History, Local History/Family History, Animals, Classic/modern Literature, Cooking, Heath, Gardening, Education, Psychology, Sport, Trains Planes and Automobiles, D.I.Y, Crafts, Biography, Political, Earth Science and Environment , Heath and Fitness, Rare and Collectable Books ect.
All sales go to Lifeline South Coast.
