My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

I'm a little worried about Mr F at the moment, he seems to have this chesty cough, i've also caught him wincing with a sharp pain in his back. He will never let on to me when things arn't right I need to be observant to be aware of these things. He has an appt with the ENT specialist next month so I will make him promise me he will tell him about this. After his surgery, I asked the tough questions of his Doctors they told me if the cancer was to come back it would be in the lungs or in the hard palate area where it was when they operated. He appears well enough in himself, maybe it's just me worrying for nothing.

Re: My day

Oh wow freddie - would love a ground cover gardenia.  Going to look for that one.  I have been buying ground covers to completely cover a barked area out the front.  Didn't know you could get them.

Re: My day

Oh freddie, I can understand how worried you would be at any symptoms, but with all the renos you have been doing, he may have pulled a muscles moving or lifting things.  As you say, he must mention it though.

Re: My day

Sorry to hear that Freddie, is it possible the dust from the bathroom reno could be affecting him? Do he wear a mask when he is working in there?

Re: My day

Bushy, Mr F helped chip the tiles off the walls which wasn't really the dusty part of the job. I've noticed he's been taking lots of over the counter sinus meds over the past few weeks as well, I will keep an eye on him and stamp the foot about going to his GP if this hangs on for much longer. I worry because it was me who found the cancer to begin with, and only because it burst and the bathroom basin was covered in blood. He thought it was an ulcer so ignored it.

Freddie, keep a close eye on him.  Those are the same symptoms that my OH had last Christmas and he ended up in hospital with pneumonia.  He had had a virus before Christmas and over the holidays he just got worse.

Re: My day

I love gardenias. My great-grandmother hated them but had a neighbour who always gave her some whenever they bloomed so Nana used to pass them on to me. lol.

Freddie, it sounds as though Mr Freddie could do with a check up very, very soon.
