RCH refuse to return children

Well done, RCH drs for putting the children first and standing up to our politicians and their heart breaking stance on asylum seekers.

Brian Owler is slated to become a Labor MP. Labor has sounded him out as a candidate and future leader.  The AMA has been politicised for years.

I wonder when Adam Goodes will be approached?

And, something like 3,500 children are in the community with their parents under bridging visas.

Just goes to show the complete failure of Labor to secure our borders, we will be cleaning up after them for decades to come.

Its the same old rhetoric being used as an excuse to villify those who do not believe that all muslims are terrorists.

It is not illegal to seek asylum.

If I remember correctly, there is something like 400 children in the general community under residence determinations, 100 in onshore detention facilities and 93 still on Nauru.

It's the same old rhetoric used to vilify anybody who has a different opinion and has the knowledge to make a judgement on just what labor did to this country. The same old rhetoric used to call people racist and Muslim haters.

It just goes to show the mindset of some people.

At last, we have reached common ground and finally agree on something. Governments need to stop using children, and adults, as poltical pawns.

Wars create refugees. Many seeking asylum come from countries that are, or have been, war torn -  wars that we have participated in. We are part of the problem. Labor, Liberal, they both need to stop treating those seeking safety as political footballs.

Children do not belong in detention centres.

Perhaps they are following this oath, which you brought up before, without any regard to political agenda.

The Hippocratic Oath

I will look upon my teachers - those who have imparted to me this Art of Medicine - even as I look upon and impart loyalty and gratitude to my parents.  I will share my substance with them, should they be in need.  To those who will be my future pupils I will teach this Art, if they so wish, without limitation of fee or covenant.

My practice - in all the manifestations of the Art of Science and Medicine - I shall adopt for the benefit of my patients according to my ability and my judgement, and not for theit hurt or for any wrong.  I will not take life.  I will not embark on those procedures for which I am untrained and I shall give place to such as are therein skilled in specialist crafts.  Into whatsoever place I go as a doctor, I will enter to help the sick and will abstain from all intentional wrong-doing and from harm.  Whatsoever things I see or hear concerning the life of my patients, and in my attandance upon the sick - I will keep silent thereon, counting such things to be as sacrted secrets.  From such precepts cometh that reputation for all that is ethical and best in the great tradition of the healing Art.

What we are seeing here is the Left wing Nurses Federation, ably abbetted by the left wing Owler to use children as  pawns.

We see unions and labor doing this type of low politic all the time and the left lap it up as fact.

Illegal immigrants will use anything, even their own children to get to Australia.

That is what you are seeing djlukjilly, it doesn't appear to be what the majority of posters on this thread are seeing.

But for a couple of typos.

This pic is upright at its source, but won't stay that way.
