When I had my second baby another woman I my room only knew for 4 weeks before the birth. School teacher 35 and had never menstrated.

I have hard this to happen to women who were rather large and always had irregular periods. I find it very hard to believe that somebody so thin would not have considerable bump in the last few months, and definitely since the baby dropped. Pregnant belly looks quite different to fat belly.

I don't know why. It's not like she was in denial. She was still menstruating, no morning sickness, no significant weight gain, so no reason to suspect pregnancy.

The "one or two" who presented (as in the OP) were women who were ignorant of pregnancy causes and symptoms.
