Charged an abserdly high fee from eBay Marketplace GmbH

I was just charged $116.23 by eBay Marketplace GmbH.

I did sell something about a couple of months ago and it sold within 2 hours of listing, so it wasn't being automatically re-listed. The sale price was about $200. There is absolutely no way that i should be receiving a +50% fee.

How do i sort this out?

I Thought i'd already replied to this thread to confirm i had sorted it out. Apparently i didn't.

Never the less, I sorted it out. Turns out i 'printed a postage label' which i don't recall doing. I'm being refunded for the postage as I didn't use the label. The fee ended up being about $32.

Selling fee also applies to your postage charge, so your  FVF  should be approx $38.

Did you create postage label via ebay, if so at what cost, and did you only create the one label.  Many new sellers get caught out by creating multiple postage labels and failing to cancel any extras.

Ebay generated label sounds about right - postage charged was $87.10

So add 'em all up and the fees would be right.

Keepi in mind that the buyer actually paid for the postage.

The answer to that could well explain the fees taken out, and I imagine there must be other postcodes that would be even more expensive Stawks.

Obviously the coffee hadn't kicked in earlier when I missed the postage charge.......sigh.

$96.90 for postage for me, for 3 hours away from the seller.

What I'm dying to know now is, did the buyer pay some insane postage cost, or did they pick up? Being 3 hours from the seller, I'd be one of the cheapest rates you'd think.
