Anybody else showing Ebay as an "unsecure" site today?
After logging in this morning I notice that in the address bar at the top, where it usually has the green "https//" stuff, it just has a little "info" symbol and when I roll over it, it says that my connection is not private/secure.
WTH?

I just signed back in and it looked OK on ebay, but the "not secure" symbol came up when I moved to the discussion boards.
Bit of a worry !!!!, ...............Its probably too late, but I,m outa here !!!!!.

It is a public forum...of course it is not private or secure. Why do you think we tell members not to post private details like email addresses and phone numbers here.
There is nothing different today that has not been there before.

Lyndal - it's not just the public forum - it's the whole site.

Not seeing this on either Chrome or Firefox.
What browser are you using?

Clarry - on Safari there is no lock symbol next to the Ebay address and the pic I attached earlier was from Chrome.

Ebay has never been secure only when you're asked security questions it's secure but everything else is public otherwise
how would anyone interact with each other lol.
A buyer wouldn't be able to buy and a seller couldn't sell.
You must be a bit jumpy today lol

It's showing not secure on the address bar. I've never looked there before so have not noticed this.
