Just received the messages from eBay regarding their (optional) retail promotions.
The first message I read stated eBay are offering to co-fund these with the seller.
The next message detailed what their co-funding is.
To keep it simple the seller will fund 14% of the discount while eBay will fund 1% (of a total 15% discount ) for non Ebay Plus buyers (no doubt the vast majority).
Or for eBay Plus buyers the seller funds 14% and eBay will fund 3% (of a total 17% discount.
Clearly for several decades I have been deluded as to the meaning of the prefix 'Co', which I though suggested a joint sharing (of at least roughly) equal amounts.
