Are Agatha Christie's a goer?

I assumed that everybody would already have them, so I've steered clear. I have enough dud authors listed.

I see Borders, after dropping to about 900k listings, are now back over a mill.

Some Christie are harder to get than others. I'm still looking for three titles:

The Harlequin Tea Set (and other stories)
Three Blind Mice (and other stories)
While the Light Lasts (and other stories)

I haven't searched here for a while but last time I looked two of the three titles were available but they were new and I'd prefer pre-loved. I'd also prefer to buy from a smaller seller.

Tangles - thought I might have bumped into you this morning - closer to your place than mine - but FYI Knox is half price all day tomorrow (if you didn't know) so may see you there lol. Although the bank account took a bit of a hammering last week and this morning, so I may wait for the $1 sale :^O

There's a bookfair at Turramurra in Sydney on Saturday 30th July run by the NSW Bookdealers Guild. At the masonic centre cnr Turramurra Avenue and Pacific Highway. Open 10 to 5. A bookbinder is also attending. They also have one in Canberra at St John's Hall 7th 8th October.

Thanks for the above info Gordon. I have to qualify your post by adding that it is a book fair for Antique, Collectable, Vintage & Out of Print Books. There will be 12 Booksellers in attendance, selling their wares. Certainly worth a look.

jlb. I was there at 8.30 til 11.00. Probably too busy to socialise??? My bank account took a bit of a battering too.

I was there a bit early, but they let us in, left at 9 ( I had to get back home, walk dogs and be back in Castle Hill by 12!) - then I did Knox on Sunday as well - madly listing now, need to sell some!!!! Especially since I'm picking up a car full on Monday :^O

Rama, are you after any stock particularly, or just more to fill up your shelves? I'm looking at offloading a bit (I will be keeping some for my return). From memory I have a decent amount of Agatha Christie, can do Jackie Collins, Bryce (haha), Leon Uris, probably John Grisham, Paullina Simons, and probably more by the time I look! I can get them to Leongatha easily if you were interested. DM me if you are.

The only author I would be in need of would be Agatha, but I have a decent amount atm thanks Helen.
It's funny when you sell a large Whitethorn Woods and you look in your shed and there's another 20 in there lol. I'm so glad I don't have those borders or angus sales digging into my t/over down here.

The Bookdealers Guild NSW Inc has a book fair this weekend Sat July 30th 10.00am til 5.00pm at the Masonic Hall Pacific Highway Turramurra NSW. Would love to see you there.

This is for those in the Illawarra part of NSW.

Bulli Rotary have a book sale 5 times a year. On the first Saturday of February, May, August (yesterday, sorry!) and November. At the Austinmer Uniting Church from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
And at the Bulli showground on Sat & Sun 3rd & 4th December.
