I can't remember the first one but mum and dad took me to see Anne of the Thousand Days when I was a kid. That's because we was very culchad.

Jungle Book too.

Can't remember what it was, but I remember where - Toowomba - a few days after we arrived from the old country.

I also remember that we walked to it - didn't have a car yet.

I also remember the 'nice lady' who was taking the money was also handing out window cleaning clothes - she said: 'well, you can clean your bathroom windows with them then'.

I think it was Susan Slade, starring Troy Donahue and Connie Stevens.  Like you Rabbit, I would have been fresh out from England. We didn't have drive-ins there, in winter it was too cold and in summer it didn't get dark till too late.
