Hi, does anyone know how I can talk to a human at ebay? The 1800 number just refers you back to the webpage and hangs up on you! Thanks.
Martin.

Click on eBay Help at the top of any page
Scroll to the issue that matches yours, or the closest to it
When the chatbot box comes up type in 'speak to a agent'
Or
Ask other members here
Without giving personal information, let us know the problem and we can provide accurate advice, rather than an agent who will type from their pe-written script

And I can guarantee you'll get more accurate advice IF it's about payment, non payment or
a scam "pretend" payment of a $3500 item

Wasting your time!
I tried to claim a warranty complaint with photo's and it wouldn't send it to eBay.
I usually spend significantly, but not 1 cent more ever again.
Their choice to do all contact with AI to reduce/ ignore complaints is their choice.
I only buy local and only if retailers accept responsibility for warranties.

There is no warranty on eBay unless you buy from an authorised seller/re-seller who is registered in Australia
eBay do not provide nor enforce a warranty even when one really does exist
Pointless sending a photo to eBay
The eBay MBG is not a warranty, nor did the OP ask about a warranty
But I 100% agree, if a buyer wants a real warranty, not just a word on the screen, then yes, absolutely buy from seller that can actually provide one
