the doom and gloom, end of the world poster who kept coming back sprouting the bible and telling us the end of the world was nigh.
I'm sure there were others but those are the ones I vaguely remember from quite a few years ago.
this is going back a few years now. I may have some names wrong.

Lots of posters missing - involuntarily
That's why the thread may disappear.

TRBAG has disappeared, along with so many others.
He is probably over in the middle east trying to convert Muslims to Christianity.
Many from the original Round Table community stayed on when the name was changed a few years ago.
The old boards were so much more interesting and free wheeling.
A lot of nutters offset with some really interesting posters.
Ebay didn't think some of us were PC enough....it took out so much of the interaction between posters.
Even more so when some nannie complained about a post which, in a lot of cases, was benign.
However, I do think it was right to ban those who personally attacked other posters instead of attacking the subject.
We now get only about 10% of the number of posters we used to have.

Yes, there were opposing camps on all the subjects.......posters had an opinion and shared them with 'enthusiasm'.
Everyone had an opinion.....and I looked forward to reading them.
Some of the threads had so manly responses daily.....for a week or longer. Sometimes into the early morning hours.
I remember that there were a lot of genuine friendships forged on the old boards too.
Just two of my favourites were Bacardi and Patkin..
Posters with personal problems could use the boards anonymously just to unload and would always get a responses from kind and compassionate members.
All this is missing now.
I enjoyed the nutters too....always interesting.
I think most posters will remember TRBAG (the really bad advice giver)......he was a hoot.
I do miss him and his outrageous attacks on ALL the other posters, including me.
Yes, those were the days.

Yes I know of at least 40 members that are still here but under different IDs.
Don't worry I won't reveal your true selves
