Hello, I've only started selling on ebay recently and I wanted to canvas the community's opinions on whether Australia Post or Sendle were generally better options for shipping?
My own observation is that Australia Post tends to be a bit more expensive but is somewhat more consistent than Sendle. Sendle can be great sometimes but it has been a bit hit and miss, with a couple of my parcels seemingly lost in the void.
What has your experience been?

As Kopes said, they are a broker and will use the cheapest courier possible - usually Aramex (Fastway) or Couriers Please. Every time I've had to deal with them has been a poor experience, their Customer Service is useless as is their tracking.
Pay a bit more and get a reliable postal service with AP.

Sendle is a broker so they often search for the cheapest carrier and you could end up with any 2 bit company responsible for your delicate items.
I won't use them, always AP for my peace of mind.
There have been many here in community complaining of carriers through Sendle losing parcels or being very slow. Search Sendle on the discussion boards and you will soon see many disgruntled posts.

I use Sendle all the time the intergration with ebay is easy to use and it loads your items sold once you link your ebay account, this also works well with Etsy which my wife uses. I print my own labels and don't have to fill in any blanks. The only issue which ive sorted is they will not ship to PO Boxes so ive stated this in all my listings. Probably works best if you live in a house and not apartment as you have to leave the item out for collection which works well for me as im in a culdersac and have never had a parcel go missing. Also i have a good relationship with the courier who i text how many items are due to collect and if they are able to collect early if the items are on the more exspensive side. Happy to add more information if anyone has further questions.
Cheers Rob

Sendle might work in the cities , offering all the bells and whistles for their services ,but as far as rural deliveries go, a third party courier service will end up with the parcel, eg; Amarax/ Fastway which don’t service my area, resulting me to drive 120kms + round trip, (depending what depot it ends up) and pick up myself…. after waiting 14-16 days for the package to arrive….Auspost , the only reliable, trustworthy and credible service provider for rural areas..
