Unable to revise variations in listings

Hello All. Anyone else having issues with this? Variations in listings cant be revised. I can edit the listing, make all the changes I want to variations, but when I save them and list the revised item I get an error message saying "Oops, this is embarrassing! The listing tool isnt available right now" Sometimes when I save the changes the changes get scrambled. I have the red messages saying certain things need to be filled in, and when I go back into the variations prices have been shuffled around, fields are deleted. I have spoken to the absolutely useless live chat team 3 times now and each time they say I will hear back within 72 hours, and then I dont hear back. A person from eBays phone help replicated the issue from her end and lodged a case, but again havent heard back Extremely frustrating. I have taken 3 weeks off work to revise and optimise all my listings as I dont get time otherwise, and havent managed to save the changes on a single listing.

"Counterfeit" item removed, which isnt counterfeit. What to do?

Hello everyone, I have a product I am trying to sell. It is a popular product with a brand name, not generic. In Australia there are 1100+ listings for this search, with listings having over 1000 sales and existing on the site for what looks like years. I have the invoice I used to purchase the item, and the brand has many products in their range. eBay removed it instantly for being counterfeit. No email, no message, no backing to their claim. I contacted eBay chat and have had different responses: One said I can submit the invoice and it will be OK to relist. Did this, it was removed again Another said just relist it, but I havent tried yet. I dont want account restrictions Third couldnt tell me, just kept saying it must be counterfeit. Phone help just beat around the bush saying I have to remember that this is for the protection of the eBay community, and other similar bs. This item isnt counterfeit. How can I get it through eBays thick as bricks skull? 23 years of selling, and I am just about over it.

Have been fighting AI for weeks now

Well here we are. Have been an Ebay member for almost 20 years now having sold close to 800000 items. We have been arguing the fact that hundreds of our items, mainly sequins are not single use plastic items. Meanwhile each day for weeks now items have been removed by AI systems and we have had to plead our case on each item. So as of yesterday because of so called violations (selling sequins which are not banned items) we have been suspended so we told staff to not come in. Absolute disgrace after dealing with this company for this long.

      Is Ebay authenticators a scam?

I sold a sneaker which i boughtit from a reputable shop in Melbourne named Subtype store and did not pass authenticity. I have a receipt for it , order history and email confirmation. The authenticators cannot do it's only job. Now selling on ebay is risky, unreliable and a waste of time, money on shipping fees. This is not the first time and they will knit pick certain areas and canceling the sell and will comment the shoes are used and not new however the description says pre owned. After their guessing authenticity check they will immediately give you a violation report and return the sold item and losing time on packing, and money for driving to a post office and the shipping labels. I was required to refund the buyer even if my funds are on hold and I have to refund the shipping fees the buyer pays which was already deducted from the funds. Ebay has become the worst place to sell sneakers and all i am selling now is not to profit but to cash out the most possible amount from my spend or less to purchase a home. I or maybe other have encountered these and suffered from the authenticators mistake or scam. Ebay was the easiest and safest site to sell and not anymore. It feels like a gamble and have to depend on the knowledge of the person touching the sneakers. Is there a degree for shoe authenticator?

      EBay & Ai

I used to be able to sell similar items and modify the Item, heading and description. Now, with Ai , EBay copy all the hidden code behind the details and then you can’t edit it. EBay was better before. Using their stupid list item, I can’t sell a particular motorcycle carburettor because it doesn’t come up on any of their listings and so I can’t auction it. I am so annoyed as others must be that I can’t sell on EBay now. So I’ll will have to sell it on Marketplace instead, along with all my other parts.

eBay won't accept my bank account for payouts.

eBay asked me to verify the bank account I am using to receive payments. I have been using this account for several years without a problem, but now eBay refuses to accept it and is hanging on to my payments. I have tried replacing it with a different bank account which I use on another eBay account without a problem but it is also not accepted. I would approach eBay but the only way to do this would appear to try and expl;ain the problem to an autobat. Has anyone any suggestions?

MORE USELESS, TIMEWASTING AND SALE"S DESTROYING A.I. TOOLS FROM YOUR FRIENDS AT EBAY AUSTRALIA.

The CURRENT Ebay recommended price A.I. tool, needs to be relegated to the recycle Bin ASAP! . It is SO INACCURATE, that it is affecting my sales! For example, I currently have a listing of 36 unopened, Coles Little superheroes cards, plus a collectable case (brand new) still inside of its original packaging. The A.I. generated recommended price, is saying I should sell this listing for (wait for it) $2.03 cents AUD!!! ( I cannot even buy a single box of matches from Foodland down the road, for that price!) Another listing is for a pack of vintage, still sealed deck of cards (all 57 of them) The recommended price for these is (wait for it) $5.04 cents (AUD) I have another listing for a wine aerator and a food vacuum sealing pack. (Both new) and the recommended price for these two items, according to Ebay is (wait for it) $178.00. (AUD) I actually googled the price for these two items online (brand new) and they both sell for around $40.00 through various (online) retailers. So, if you do some very basic math's, (with postage) you are looking around the $90.00 to $95.00 mark, (AUD) which falls far short of the $178.00, (AUD) that Ebay recommends I sell these two items for??? What amuses me (and make me angry at the same time) is that Ebay has no problem, creating endless fees (and the associated online software, that goes with collecting those fees (including, recently adding a reasonably complicated, sliding scale for the so called "buyer protection" fee for pro-seller accounts (cough-cough- not sure who this is protecting, but I am pretty sure it is NOT ME??) but cannot run the A.I. generated recommended pricing software, correctly. Neither can Ebay set up or create the correct software to collect the fee's necessary to be able to post overseas to the U.S. and E.U. countries USING EBAY GENERATED, POSTAGE LABELS. Personally, I think it is has nothing to do with NOT being able to set up and run the software, I think it is just "can't be bothered. Too hard and we may end up having to wear some of the cost ourselves. (OMG!!) Much easier to just keep taking extra fees from sellers. Well thanks for that Ebay (Australia) My sales have tanked and are currently sitting somewhere around barely happening, to not happening at all (I have one parcel to mail off this morning) from what should have" usually been a busy weekend, has gone virtually dead. Since the announcement that Ebay is no longer supporting Postage to E.U. listed countries (which make up a quarter of my customer base) plus adding buyer protection fees on a sliding scale for pro-sellers (who are in effect subsiding free sellers, another nail in the coffin for small/independent sellers, who cannot easily absorb additional costs) I am at the point where I am seriously considering, as to whether it is actually worth it, continuing to sell on Ebay.
