I have been known as Gregaryus since 2006. I tried to log on by using my Google account and somehow it came up with Gregh42 which I never created. I need to delete this page and get back to the real sight. How do I delete this nonsense.

Alternatively, the OP’s signed in via Google before.

Serious question countess, but wouldn't a new Google created / generated account show as a new account ?

·1 year agoOP, you’ve inadvertently created a new account by signing with Google. See this link below which explains how people can now “sign in” with Google, Facebook or Apple social media accounts, as well as with username/password, email address/password, and phone no./password. Only the latter methods of logging in will actually log you in to your existing account.

As you can see, if your original account uses the same email address that you use for your google/gmail account, you’ll be prompted to enter your google password to link your new eBay account with your existing eBay account.
That help page above also explains how to link the accounts even if the associated email addresses are not the same. Quoting:

·1 year agoPersonally I would never use Google to sign into anything, I would sign in directly to any site I needed to.
That aside, how could you have possibly signed into that account if you didn't create it ? Because if you didn't create it you wouldn't have known the password for it.

Sign out and then
Sign in with your normal username/email address and password instead of using any of the other options listed
You might near to clear cache/cookies in between
Otherwise, you will need to contact eBay
