I purchased a Nintendo switch. The listing did say it came with a non Nintendo power cord. However when I tried connecting it to my tv the switch said it can’t connect because I’m not using the power cord that came with the switch.
So my question is am I entitled to a refund? Yes I knew it didn’t come with an official power supply but I didn’t know that meant it won’t be able to connect to my tv.
If the seller mentioned that in the listing I know I wouldn’t have a leg to stand on but they didn’t and now it’s not fit for purpose.

That is only for change of mind returns
But since you did get what was listed, not as described is not an option either
If you did not know it was not going to be suitable for your tv, how do you know the seller knew either?

I assumed the seller tested it, it’s possible the seller didn’t know you needed an official power adaptor for it to work on a tv but I would have tested it out before listing it.

I guess I’ll just have to purchase an official power cord myself.
