Changing an Existing Listing

Hi there. If I change a listing by adding say, more cups and saucers and do new photos, will Ebay think this is a different listing and charge me an insertion fee or use a free listing? Woul like to know before I do it. Best regards Karen

No, you can revise a listing provided it has no bids and more than 12 hours left.

You can even revise it to be a completely different item and it doesn't count as a new listing.

If I change a listing to a different item and increase the price, I read somewhere Ebay will charge a fee just for increasing the price. Is this true? Some things that take ages to sell I wouldnt mind altering the entire listing. Thanks for any advice.
