Complaint against ebay and their practices

hi - can anyone tell me the best government or consumer body to lodge a complaint against ebay?

One thing that puzzles me, is why would someone sell the tickets at the same price they paid, then pay eBay fees of more than $800?

Unless, they paid $5,100 and don't see an $800 mark-up as selling above price paid because they won't profit once fees are deducted.

Given that those tickets are rarer than hens teeth, I suspect that's going to be one very irate buyer if the OP cancels and would be very likely to leave a neg Chris.

Just another thought, if that buyer isn't in Melbourne and has already purchased plane tickets and/or

accomodation to the Grand Final, they will go absolutely ballistic.

Or one very happy buyer once they find out they were a little dodgy.  Not saying they are,  but why is OP so keen to get their funds before the tickets are used.
