Ebay Phone call

I received a phone call saying to contact Ebay regarding the purchase of a mobile phone for $799.00 which I have not purchased

Common as scam posted many many times here

So long as you did not press 1 or give any info, there is nothing to worry about

'eBay' is just one place the scammers pretend to be from, along with a dozen other companies

My son got one of these a couple of days ago. He doesn't even have an Ebay account.

If you proceed, the scammers will tell you they have to identify you and will ask you for all sorts of personal information. There was a lady here a few weeks ago on the forums who fell for it 😞
