We received an email from ebay saying an email we sent violated their policy which is fine but the example they included was some mass of characters and letters then @members.ebay.com.au and I have no way of knowing who this relates to because when I click on it it opens a reply email only. So go figure how do I know which or what this relates to?
Any body able to guide me on this please?

It is an eBay generated email address, produced when you sell something.
Check your sold items. You might need to go to payments to get the details.

In addition, eBay don't allow members to directly email each other.
You need to message the buyer. Through eBay messaging. It's under 'contact buyer'.
