How to get a refund for an item that doe snot show in the purchase history

Hi,

I purchased an item in February from eBay, however I am not happy with the item as it came with  instruction manual in Mandarin. The item does not work either. I have directly contacted the seller at least three times. It looks like the item doe not show in my purchase history. There is no telephone number I can call or email address I can contact. Can someone please contact me directly. I have the confirmation email with some details.

The only way to contact eBay is live chat (go to the help page, scroll down to "contact us", go through all the options until live chat appears on the left).

We are a member-to-member board here, not eBay staff (they are highly unlikely to read here, and if they do, they won't reply).

Not sure why your item does not appear in the purchase history though? Usually, if it is a recent purchase, this only happens if you get a refund or the transaction is cancelled.

Do you still have the item number? Maybe from an email confirming your order?

Have you changed the drop down menu under your purchase history ?

Did you buy from a seller in China? 

Have they left you feedback (you may be able to find the item that way)

It is could be too late to open a case through eBay anyway , you purchased in February , but what was the last estimated delivery date ?  (which you have 30 days to open a dispute if the item is not as described in the listing)

You can go to "eBay help" at the top of the page to contact them, just choose a subject that matches your problem then scroll to the bottom and use the "chat with us" option.
