I have an open case that has been put on hold. While on hold I cannot contact seller or ebay...angry

I did not recieve item by the due date. Seller said to check with rroommates. I asked for tracking number. Ebay got involved. Ebay put case on hold and now i cannot contact seller and do not know how to contact ebay au.....i dodnt want the item i have purchased another one in the meantime and it has arrived....i am frustrated to say the least.......

You can contact eBay by going to "Help" at the top of the eBay page and following the prompts.  You should be able to contact the seller by going to your "my eBay" page, top right select "purchase history" from the drop down menu, find the item "more actions" another drop down menu "contact seller"

Arrival times are an "Estimate" a guess put up by eBay, often things take longer, it is out of the hands of the seller once posted.

You bought the item, and now you don't want it?  Now it has arrived? Not sure I am following this correctly. If you bought an item and don't want it then that is your mistake. Sell it to someone else or give it away.

I think the OP means that he/she has purchased another item because the first one did not arrive. The new item arrived, so he/she now wants to close the case for the first one because he/she doesn't want the item any more?

I can see you've already left a negative for the seller who's item still hasn't arrived.

To the other posters on this thread, I'm reading it as gogo_red has since purchased AND received the

item from another seller whilst they are still waiting for item from original seller.

It's pretty simple to call ebay and ask why your claim is on hold.

Just keep in mind that the Call option is only available during business hours,(8 am to 9 pm Mon to Fri

and 8 am to 5 pm on Sat and Sun).
