Any one else get caught out today with the online banking stuff up from the bloody banks?
Went to make a transfer and it said sorry your transfer didn't go through so I kept on trying and trying and finally gave up only to later receive a message from the banks regarding and issue with instant payments and that it may take up to 3 days for it to be resolved/transferred um hang on what the hell?
I have now actually transferred the same amount about 10 times due to me trying to transfer when it wasn't working.
Are you kidding me you dumb banks?
So I have now given the recipients 10 x the amount I wanted to.
Unbelievable
What a stuff up
I wonder if I'll get it back?

I have and was told that I need to wait until all the payments get processed to see what went through and what didn't.
This will take up to 3 business days so throw the weekend into the mix and it my get resolved by Wednesday?
And yes my account will end up showing the thousands of $$$ in arrears in my account which I explained to the bank, they made a note of it in their files not to start a collection process due to the banks glitch.
I'll believe it when I see it.

Why would you keep trying to do the transfers when the system is telling you it was not working?
You can hardly blame the bank for the problem if you ignore what you are being told.

If it wasn't working, then how did it work?
I wouldn't think the bank would allow a pile up of' unsuccesful transfers' and then go right ahead and transfer them once they were back online, especially as they knew of the tech difficulties.
Stuff calling them, I would be going in to the branch nearest me and speaking face to face, they can help a lot more that way.

You're given 10 chances for a pin code before it shuts you down permanently so this is what it was like.
And it is the darn banks fault because why would they turn around and say yeh we had a glitch with payments and even though we've now told you that the payments will eventually go through sorry we didn't tell you earlier.
Failed transfer to me doesn't mean I must now stop trying.
Those failed attempts should not now be classed as payments as it's either yes or no.

That's right if they kept failing why would they say no worries they'll be processed why not just reject all of them until the system is up and running again.
I've told the bank that I won't be responsible for any payments apart for the original payments and every other payment is the responsibility of the bank to chase up and try to recoup from the recipients.

Bank has resolved the issue and only the initial attempt at payment has been processed and the rest have been cancelled pheeew
