Scam advice - I just received an automated call supposedly from Ebay saying an ITunes purches for $1

 I just received an automated call supposedly from Ebay saying an ITunes purches for $199 and if i didnt authorise it to phone a no.  I contacted my bank who advised it is a scam and definitely dont ring the no.

Call from eBay (02) 6624 8115 saying did you recently make a purchase for $389 for a iPhone 7 you did not authorise this please press one. Had some time to kill so I spoke to the guy. He said they could cancel the order, I just need to sign a form. I said sweet, email me the form, but apparently it’s an online form. Wanted me to type www. Bla bla bla. And hit enter. I told him I did and he wanted to know what I see.
I told him I see a message telling me he’s a scammer. He got very upset and used a number of swear words. I started laughing and it made him more upset. Funny how they can dish it but not take it

I always pick up the phone and say "hello" without giving my name. Fraudsters cannot give me my name and address when asked. I ask for their name and address so I can report them to police.

I just had a call today about 15 minutes ago as soon as they said put your phone on speaker and then told them that I was going to contact the police station and they soon hung up on me

This scam is still alive and well I see. I got told by a pleasant computer that I will be charged $299... the originating number is 08 6146 1788 - an obvious spoofed number
