unknown purchases on my Credit card

We are just ordinary members here, not eBay staff, so we have no information as to what was purchased, but the first thing you should do if someone is using your credit card is to contact your bank and ask them to cancel it...

Sounds like your credit card has been hacked. Put a lock on your card (online) right away and contact your bank to raise a dispute.

I've actually moved all my cards to be stored in my phone wallet so I never have to carry them around with me any more. This reduces the risk of using a  compromised EFTPOS machine, as an encrypted "token" is sent to the merchant instead of the card details, so it's more secure when you transact at the counter.

Also, I get immediate notifications when there is a transaction, so I can ascertain if it is genuine or fraud.
