Bought item from power seller however returned item, was not as decribed. They want to deduct the free post costs to in2 a restock fee??

Hi I bought a maternity body pillow from a major powr seller, when it arrived the content of feathers was very low and any pressure on the pillow just flattened it.

The seller insists I cover al postage costs, I understand that I have to pay for retuning the item but why when something is not as described do I have to cover the original postage fee (it was free postage) as a re-stocking fee (sellers own words).

Surely if an item is not as decribed as in the ad or pic should the buyer lose out.  I also paid at their request direct bank deposit and have missed out on buyer protection of paypal.

Any ideas or comments welcome.
