Cancelled and refunded item?

This has never happened before.

Over a week ago i purchased an item and paid for it within 5 mins. The seller mentioned on the product page that it can take 3-5 days to ship the item. 3 days went by and i paid it no attention. 5 working days and still nothing. 6th day i sent the seller a message asking what the status of the item was. No response. 7th day i sent them another message requesting the same. 8th day and my third and final message remains unanswered. It is now the 9th working day since the auction ended with no response to my messages and no shipping notification.

I am well aware of the fact that a shipping notification is a courtesy and is not required.

I sent the seller a request for a cancellation and refund and within 24 hours the item was cancelled and the funds refunded to me. No word, no reply to my messages - nothing!

They still wont respond to me. I dont understand??
