Chinese copies

I am really amazed that the Chinese can make fake copies of reputable brand names and get away with it!

eBay does not seem to care that these fraudulent items are being sold on it's platform.

Surely fake items should be taken down once reported?

Sorry, but what planet have you been living on.....Chinese fakes have been a fact of life for as long as I can remember.....and I am 75.

It is not just on ebay either.....they are everywhere.

You can report a fake item to ebay but it has to be something you have bought and had authenticated (or not) by an authorised party such as a manufacturer or agent.

I am really amazed also.

After all, the pattern would be -

1. Item advertised as genuine at a fraction of the legitimate price;

2. Item advertised as in Australia with delivery times of weeks;

3. Seller registered in China/Singapore/Malaysia...

So which of those 3 obvious flags didn't cause alarm bells? Or did you think you could get genuine at way less than retail?
