Comphensation / Reimbursement

is this going to far?

I purchased a USB flash drive which turned out to be faulty and then later I discovered it to be a fake (falsely advertised and misleading).

Issues started to unfold when transfering files to the new USB, after just a few gigabytes were transferred it would get an error... the files became corrupted or simply lost because I had to 'cut and paste' because I needed the files off my PC and the USB was meant for temporary dump / storage etc etc

I have asked the seller for reimbursement of purchase of the recovery software, which managed to recover all the files (yay!), but feel maybe I am going too far and eBay will not side with me over this...

Try this Download H2testw 1.4 (softpedia.com) to see if your flash drive is fake.

Many years ago I got a refund using this tool. Now I usually only buy flash drives from B&M stores, but it was literally one of my very first purchases.
