I will no longer purchase goods advertised as free delivery to find at check out there is a fee.

If you are using the app, that is well known to say 'free postage' when it's not

Same if you purchase something from a listing that says contact seller for postage before buying and you don't

Same if you purchase from a seller overseas and the 'free postage' means 'free' within their country only

Same if it is a pick up only item and you expect it to be posted for free

You really do not need to tell other members, and eBay are not going to know or care

What was the item number in this case that showed 'free' postage and wasn't?

Did you communicate with the seller and ask them about it?
