Does neutral selection affect seller?

I had a couple of issues, something small was missing in what I'd brought.. the seller was appolgetic and quickly sent the missing thing when I contacted.    I also had an allergic reaciton to the free gift they sent with my buy as I have health issues with chemicals and it was fragnant.  So I marked my comment as being neutral thou I still gave the seller full stars (I didnt want to see the seller penalized for a simple mistake and just bad luck).

Im now thou put on the sellers blocked list with a post saying what I did will affect the seller negatively.  My question is does selecting the neutral box  do that??  even one had selected all stars for the seller?

Saw the other post but its closed and not correct.

Yes, a neutral does affect a seller. It's called a 'defect' under the new seller ratings.

Negs, Neutrals and any star rating of 3, 2 or 1 are all defects that lower a seller's rating. The higher % of defects, the lower in the searches the seller appears and prehaps loss of Top Rated Seller down to Standard.
