I purchased a cable through a seller and paid express shipping. They intentionally sent the wrong cable. I looked at their feedback and there hundreds of people saying the same thing. The seller basically said just use the one I sent you and fold it up. I managed to get a refund directly from ebay considering the sellers attitude and reported them.
My question is will ebay do anything about these types of sellers clouding the site with bogus products and scamming people?
Yes Ebay do take action, they give unhappy buyers the opportunity to leave big red negative's on a sellers feedback. Than they allow potential buyers to read that feedback, and make their own decision. So yes Ebay do, do something.
But buyers for some strange reason wait until after a transaction to read that feedback. I guess sometimes we all have to take personal responsibility, Ebay can't force you to read feedback BEFORE you buy, if only they could, you wouldnt be supporting these dodgy sellers.
350 red dots in 12 months......did you not check their feedback?
the answer to your question is NO
The time to look at feedback is before you buy
You could have avoided the issue rather than give this scammer you business
You could have also left them a neg yourself
It is alarming how many people don’t care who they are buying from, all you need to know is available before you buy and it takes a couple of seconds to check feedback
