Why are there so many faulty batteries being sold? Is it for seller fees?
Because buyers choose to keep buying them
Because they are knock offs from dodgy sellers registered in China and those buying them do not care if they damage property or kill someone
They ignore all the neg feedback these dodgy sellers have
They ignore all the warnings about buying unbranded garbage from randoms
They don’t care whose life they put at risk by choosing to buy them
Simple as that
No care. No responsibility taken for their bad buying choices again and again
Hear, hear. It is frustrating that buyers again and again take such an incredible risk in buying dangerous batteries… in spite of high-profile reports on the news about destroyed property, injuries and deaths due to cheap knock-off batteries.
As to why they’re allowed to be listed on eBay, that’s due to eBay’s desperate “Don’t rock the boat” playbook for its presence in China. Morally indefensible…
… but if buyers didn’t buy this rubbish, it would soon become economically not worth making and listing these for the sellers concerned.
