Has anyone been duped by free gift of "Le Creuset" kitchen pots?

When ordering stuff from eBay, one is shown a message suggesting that one may claim 1 pending gift. After a few more steps, such as participating in a lottery type, one is told that one has won some brand names pot called Le Creuset. This leads to paying for postage of $3. This leads to the website accessing your bank account without authorisation.

Stop yelling. You are very lucky you did not receive anything. You happily gave all you information to scammers. Most people who do that have their bank accounts cleaned out and become victims of identity theft. This is one nobody can say they ‘didn’t know’. It is posted about as far and wide as can be, just like the warnings everywhere about the gift card scam. I’d suggest you change all your passwords for everything you have and contact your bank to tell them you need to cancel your card and get a new one as you gave your details to scammers
