I contacted ebay by phone and they said no a seller cant ban you for no reason ..Next they say Yes a seller can ban you at his own discretion ,even tho I have a perfect record..
And to top it all off .I won 2 items recently ,paid paypal, but the sellers have got together and refused to send items ,,What I have gathered over this saga ,is .Is the cost of frieght to WA..so ebay let them sell me the item get my money and dont get item ,Because the seller has rights ,at his disposal ,It stinks ,,any one have any ideas
thks Rajah
Yes sellers can block anyone they want from bidding on their items. They can also block people who buy (or bid on) more than a certain number of items in a short time.
It would be highly unlikely that 2 sellers would "get together" to stop you buying but you may have come across more than one seller with the same general blocks in place, or 2 selling IDs who are actually the same person.
Either way there is nothing you can do, aside from emailing them and asking to be exempted from these block and letting them know you are genuine.
