How do I contact a person at eBay Australia via email?

I made an eBay purchase in late December 2021, The product has broken and I want the seller to fix or provide the broken part.

The item no longer shows on my Purchase History, but I have the purchase receipt so contacted the seller.

The seller wants me to raise a support request via eBay, but I cannot seem to do it.

Does anyone know how I can contact ebay via email?

Thank you.

Emailing eBay is a waste of time, you'll only get 'bot answers. Besides you are out of time for any claim through eBay.

If you paid with Paypal you could open a dispute with them, but sign up for their "limited return post refund" first. Otherwise if you paid by credit card you may be able to do a charge-back.

Edit. G'day Sandy, snap.

About 5 months to late for eBay to have any part of it

You needed to open an item not as described dispute within 30 days of the last estimated delivery date

The seller was never going to fix the item, nor provide another part, that is not how things work

It will be in  your purchase history, you simply need to change the time period in the drop down menu

The seller would be well aware of the time limits, as you as a buyer need to be

Email is pointless even if it was not way too late, as it is a bot system with either no reply, or a reply which is nothing to do with what was asked
